Summer Smooches coordinating set

Same design, but using different colors and sentiments.

I recently saw a post by fellow demonstrator Robin Merriman, using a similar design, but different patterned paper and a different placement of the sentiment and butterfly.  I liked the cards design, so decided to CASE (copy and share everything) her design using the supplies I had on hand.  I really like the way the butterflies draw your attention to the embossing on the upper part of the card.  The patterned designer paper is from the new Summer Smooches pack.  Each card coordinates with one of the colors from this design.  These were some of the new products featured today at my New Catalog Open House.

Dedication

     This post is dedicated to my late niece, Angie, who lost her battle with cancer in April.  I wanted to make this album and used Elegant Eggplant since I have an abundance of this paper right now.  Well, purples are Angie's favorite colors, so I decided to make this little album for her sons.  The first picture shows the front cover of the album.  The picture below is what you see when you open the album.  I created the dedication page using My Digital Studio, saved the page to my computer, then cropped the page to fit the album.  One of her passions was Belly Dancing, so I figured it should be the first picture seen.  Isn't she beautiful?  I'll  have this on display at my Open House this coming Friday from 2 to 7.  The pictures really don't do the album justice.

New Catalog Open House

    
     If you are one of my customers already, you should be receiving a personal invitation to my New Catalog Open House.  If you aren't currently, that's OK.  You're invited, too.  It's coming up soon, so plan to attend.  When?  Friday, June 27, 2012, from 2:00pm to 7:00pm. IT'S HERE! IT'S HERE!

     THE NEW CATALOG IS HERE!  When a new catalog is introduced during the Stampin' Up! fiscal year, demonstrators are both sad (We have to say goodbye to some old favorites) and happy (We get to introduce and purchase exciting new products).  I have a list of retired stamps that are available for purchase that I will post hopefully by this weekend.  These will also be available at my New Catalog Open House tentatively scheduled for June 22.  I have a new link on my sidebar so you can view the new catalog and start your wish list.
