Envelope Gift Card

Although you can't see it very well, this card is made using an envelope and a crimper. I cut off 1 1/4 inch off the side of the envelope, inked the background with So Saffron and stamped the Upsy Daisy flower on the main part of the envelope. It is then run through the crimper. The remaining top of the envelope is wrapped with ribbon and then becomes the lid of the card. Perfect for inserting a gift card or special note. It was a very fast and easy card to make. I got the idea from a tutorial on Split Coast Stampers. They have some awesome card and gift ideas. I've even created a 'catalog' of sorts with ideas for future use. As I have time to practice, watch for the results right here.

Speaking of time, my kids are on Spring Break this week, so I don't know how much time I'll have for stamping and creating, but if you have any questions, feel free to call me or e-mail me at tmustain@grics.net.

Happy Stamping,

Twila
