Gift giving and packaging for the Holidays

Have you sometimes wondered about a creative way to package a simple gift, like a small hand cream?  Why not make a gift box designed especially for your gift?  I've seen some very creative and decorative gift packaging ideas in the last few weeks and wanted to create something myself, so this was my idea of an easy to make and simple design.  The box was made using a 5" x 12" piece of patterns designer series paper in Rich Razzleberry.  It was almost a perfect match for the Avon hand cream for which it was made.  (They offer cute packaging for special holidays on hand creams and lip balms, so I always stock up for the year)
I made another small gift bag for the lip balm.  It is soooo cute, but alas, I did not come up with the design.  It looks like a miniature purse!  You'll have to come by the Holiday Extravaganza this Saturday to see it.  I don't want to give away ALL the surprises!
The Holiday Extravaganza is this Saturday, November 20, from 2 to 6, at the Knox Agri Center, South Soangetaha Rd., Galesburg.  It's across the road from the Harley Davidson Store.  I will have some retired products for sale, as well as some handcrafted cards and gifts.  I look forward to seeing you there.

Happy Stamping,

Twila
