I just love the Polished Stone technique! It's so fun and easy to do! Every sheet you do is unique, even when you use the same color combinations. This uses Stampin' Up! Tempting Turquoise, YoYo Yellow, and Pink Passion. These bright colors look very soft when combined with this technique on glossy cardstock. Again, I'm trying to use some of my retiring stock, so for my background piece I chose Barely Banana. The top layer is Regal Rose, since I am fresh out of many Bold Brights. The colors coordinate quite well, don't you think? The Buttons are from the Fresh Favorites 1 collection. The Faux stitching is done using the White Gel Pen with a ruler as a guide. Thank you to Tamara Black, a member of Late Night Stampers, for her card inspiration. I CASE'd her card, but changed some of the colors and buttons. We'll be making this card at the Tuesday night Card Club next week. I look forward to seeing everyone there.
Happy STamping,
Twila
