A good friend and Card Club member asked recently if we would be making a birthday card at card club this month. I hadn't specifically planned one, but needed another design, anyway. It needed to be for a female, but not too frilly. I may have overdone the frilly part just a little, but I like the way this turned out. The card base is Regal Rose cardstock. The print layer is from the new Sending Love Specialty Designer Series Paper from the Occassions Mini Catalog. I also used 4 punches, the new Extra Large Fancy Flower and the Pinking Hearts Border punches from the Occassions Mini, and the Word Window and Modern Label punches from the 2009 - 2010 Idea Book & Catalog. The butterfly is the Stampin' Up! Beautiful Wings Embosslit Die, also from the Occasions Mini.
Do you know that if you bought just the papers and punches to make this card (no stamps or die), you would spend $88.75, and you would get a FREE Sale-A-Bration item. Add the stamp set, On Your Birthday for $33.95, and you now have $122.70, plus TWO FREE items from the Sale-A-Bration catalog. Add another $22.30 of an item of your choosing, and you have enough on a single order to earn a FREE hostess set, plus another $15 in free merchandise. That adds up to approximately $50 in FREE merchandise. You would now have plenty of at two cardstock colors to make many more cards, scrapbook pages, etc. Want to learn more about earning FREE merchandise? Just give me a call and we'll discuss options.
Oh, and by the way, I still have one opening for card club this month, so give me a call for more details.
Happy Stamping,
Twila
